Natural Looking Results That Blend Seamlessly.

Looking to boost your hair's fullness while keeping your length? Long hair SMP delivers exactly that. This advanced cosmetic solution adds subtle depth to your hair without requiring you to cut or shave it shorter. The magic of scalp micropigmentation for long hair happens as tiny pigment deposits blend with your natural strands, filling in any visible gaps.
Think of it as adding shadows beneath your hair—these carefully placed pigments reduce the visibility of your scalp through the hair. Each pigment point matches your hair colour perfectly, working with your natural growth patterns to create seamless results. You'll notice your hair appears thicker right away, and you can still style it however you like.
The best part? These results stick around. Unlike many temporary solutions, the pigments stay put, giving you that fuller look for years to come. Just pop in occasionally for a quick touch-up to keep everything looking fresh.

Hair Loss in Long Hair
What Is Scalp Micropigmentation For Long Hair?
Hair thinning hits differently when you're sporting longer locks. Those gorgeous strands you've spent years growing might start revealing more scalp than you'd like, often due to your genes, shifting hormones, daily stress, or missing nutrients in your diet. Long hair can actually make thinning more noticeable, especially when light hits your scalp through gaps in your hair.
SMP for long hair steps in as a clever fix for this visual challenge. This procedure adds depth where you need it most—those spots where thinning has made your scalp more visible than you'd like. Micropigmentation for long hair creates a subtle shadowing effect that blends right in with your natural hair pattern.
This technique is particularly brilliant for dealing with patchy areas. By adding carefully matched pigments between your existing strands, it creates an optical illusion of thickness. As a result, your hair looks naturally fuller, without anyone being able to spot the difference between your real hair and the enhancement.
Picture adding tiny, precisely placed dots of pigment between your hair strands—that's the essence of long hair SMP. Unlike traditional hair solutions that might force you to change your style, scalp micropigmentation for long hair works with your existing length and style, not against it.
The process starts with selecting the perfect pigment shade to match your natural hair colour. Your artist then creates a detailed pattern of dots that mimics the way hair naturally grows from your scalp. These dots aren't just randomly placed—they're strategically positioned to create natural-looking depth and shadow beneath your hair.
SMP for long hair requires special skill because your artist needs to work around your existing strands while ensuring even coverage. They'll adjust the pigment density based on your hair's natural pattern and thickness. A seamless blend between the pigmented areas and your natural hair that lasts for years. No daily maintenance needed—just style your hair as usual and enjoy a more voluminous appearance.

Is scalp micropigmentation the same as a tattoo?
In short yes, it is the same as a tattoo, however it has subtle differences. i.e the technique, needles that are used and the depth we implant the ink.
Does it hurt?
Minimal pain is felt during SMP. Most say 3/10 in comparison to a traditional tattoo. However, everybody’s pain threshold is different. We advise clients to have eaten and drunk well on the day of the treatment. Further information can be found on our pre-treatment forms.
Does the treatment fade or discolour?
Over time (2-5 years) the treatment will naturally fade down, at this point a touch up is recommended. We only use carbon based black pigments so you can be sure the impressions will not turn blue in colour.

Our treatment will usually last anywhere between 2-5 years before any touch up is required. The touch up is a quicker procedure in comparison to your initial treatment. Please enquire regarding prices on touch ups.

How long does it take?
Our treatment times generally last from 2-4 hours depending on the condition of the scalp and the area that needs covering.
