What Is The Difference Between SMP & A Tattoo?

The difference between scalp micropigmentation and a regular tattoo is SMP artists use micro needles to perform the treatment and go into the top layer of the dermis, which is the middle layer of your skin.

Although regular tattoo'ing can sometimes adopt these same methods dependent on what they are trying to achieve.

Years ago there were myths flying around that SMP wasn't tattoo'ing when in actual fact the truth is it is, all beit slightly adopted techniques being used to get the desired effect. But pretty much one of the same thing. For example geometric tattoo work would have slightly different techniques used as aposed to portrait work.

Scalp Nation is a UK Award Winning Scalp Micropigmentation Clinic in Hornchurch, Essex with hair line tattoo expert Will Quaye who specialises in SMP at his clinic 10 minutes from London.
